pub struct BackendConfig {
pub name: String,
pub url: String,
pub auth: BackendAuth,
pub tools: Vec<String>,
pub transport: BackendTransport,
}Expand description
Per-backend routing configuration (pillar 4).
Fields§
§name: StringUnique backend name (used in intent mapping and metrics).
url: StringBase URL of the backend MCP server.
auth: BackendAuthAuth policy for this backend.
tools: Vec<String>Tools routed to this backend. When empty, this backend serves as the default for unmapped tools.
transport: BackendTransportWire protocol spoken to this backend. mcp (the default) is the
MCP Streamable HTTP transport: an initialize handshake per agent
session, MCP-Session-Id and MCP-Protocol-Version headers, and
SSE responses. json_rpc sends one plain JSON-RPC POST per call.
