pub struct TopicSpec {
pub name: String,
pub partitions: u32,
pub retention: RetentionSpec,
pub schema_ref: Option<String>,
}Expand description
One topic declaration.
Fields§
§name: StringTopic name (agent.tool_call, …).
partitions: u32Partition count (partitioned by ai_agent.instance_uid).
retention: RetentionSpecRetention policy. Required (declared as such in the shipped
JSON Schema at schemas/bridge-manifest.schema.json). If we
silently defaulted here the avctl manifest-validate verdict
would split from every external JSON-Schema linter’s — an
operator seeing the CLI’s OK plus their platform gate’s FAIL
on the same file has to guess which is correct. Retention is
also semantically load-bearing: an operator who reads the
schema’s hot_hours: default: 720 and omits the block gets
30 days of hot storage they never asked for.
schema_ref: Option<String>JSON Schema reference events on this topic must satisfy.
